Get involved with “Friends of OMAC” to protect and enhance the Centre, an important community asset, a building at a unique location that has served the residents of Kelowna for nearly fifty years!
Community support and commitment are key to saving the Okanagan Mission Activity Centre.
Donations in support of the Friends of OMAC initiative will be used to:
- bring awareness to the building through additional dialogue, community outreach and promotion
- renovate and update the facility to better meet the long term community needs for residents of all ages, and
- preserve and continue the original intent and purpose for the building to provide programs and services to residents age 50 and over, in partnership with the Okanagan Mission Senior Centre Society.
Contributions to the “Friends of OMAC” initiative are intended for the exclusive use of the Okanagan Mission Senior Centre Society.
Donations over $20.00 will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
